Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish is an Australian actor. Born on 7 August 1982. Cornish is best known for her performances in films such as Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) as well as Sarah and Geostorm (2017). In the latter film, Cornish received the first Screen Actors Guild Award as one of the actors. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland as well as The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her father. Ann McDonough played the mother in the film. Betty Gilpin made a decision to pursue acting since she received the encouragement and love from her parents. Fordham College was her first selection when it came time to go to the college of her dreams. In Fordham she developed her skills. Gilpin continued to be a candidate for TV and film roles while performing in Off Broadway shows. After a brief guest appearance on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent The actress landed minor roles in Ghost Town (2009) and The Northern Kingdom (2008). Gilpin kept landing mostly TV guest spots in the subsequent years before she got her first break in 2013, when she was offered a role as Nurse Jackie. Gilpin played Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin in 34 episodes until Nurse Jackie ended its run in June of 2015. Gilpin made her debut in True Story, a mystery thriller.
