Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941. He was the son of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He relocated from Casper, Wyoming with his family in the year 13 when he turned thirteen. The father of his was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, directed the soil conservation district in Casper.
