Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress who is best known for the films Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. Her first fame was her role in Tezaab from the 1980s where she co-starred alongside an established actor Anil Koopor. Her next role was in Dil which she was on screen with Aamir. Her birthplace was in the Mumbai middle class family and began to dance at a young age. When she was in her early years as she began to perform as an actress, most films she produced were not successful. In the end, she was one of the biggest actresses of Indian films. After her wedding, she took a career break before reentering the industry. In the past, she was an important character in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the challenges faced by women living in India. Dixit has received 15 Filmfare Awards nominations, of which, eight were awarded. Padma Shri was awarded to her, which is the fourth most prestigious civil award in India. The award was also given to her by the field of social work.
